Billing & Collections Officer
We are looking for a detail-driven Billing & Collections Officer to join our Finance team within Accounts Receivable & Credit Control. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Senior Officer, you will own the day-to-day execution of the order-to-cash cycle: issuing accurate customer invoices against approved contracts, keeping customer files complete and audit-ready, and following up systematically on outstanding balances until payment is collected.

Roles & Accountabilities
- Issue customer sales invoices against approved warehouse release permits, verifying pricing, discounts, quantities, and applicable taxes before release.
- Price all warehouse-released items in line with approved sales contracts and reconcile release permits, delivery notes, and invoices on a three-way match basis.
- Maintain complete physical and digital customer files, including contracts, invoices, receipts, delivery orders, and payment evidence, under agreed indexing and confidentiality standards.
- Post and allocate customer payments, cheques, and bank transfers to the correct contracts and invoices; investigate and clear unapplied receipts and short payments.
- Reconcile assigned customer accounts monthly and circulate customer account statements showing invoiced value, payments received, and outstanding balances.
- Run the routine collection cycle, including reminders, claims, and payment requests by phone, email, and formal letter, and coordinate with Sales Representatives to resolve disputes delaying settlement.
- Conduct on-site customer visits to collect payments, deliver claims, and obtain signed acknowledgements of balances.
- Prepare the receivables ageing and collections status report per customer and per Sales Representative within the monthly reporting calendar.
- Apply Egyptian tax and electronic invoicing requirements to all documents issued, and support internal and external audit requests with complete, traceable records.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, or collections.
- Practical experience following up on outstanding payments by phone, email, and customer visits.
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, filtering, and pivot tables, with experience using an accounting or ERP system.
- Fluent Arabic, written and spoken, with working knowledge of English.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through discipline, and a professional manner with customers.
- Cairo or Giza resident who is able to work on-site from Aquatop's headquarters.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Egyptian Tax Authority electronic invoicing requirements.
- Exposure to B2B credit control in trading, retail, or premium and luxury goods companies.
- Experience working with the accounts receivable module of an ERP system.
- Valid driving licence for customer collection visits.
